Last night I watched a strange film called Time Trap. I wouldn't watch it again but it had an intereting sci fi storyline and I wanted to find out how it ended. It isn't one of those films where I think...well thats X hours I'll never get back. Lol. There are some where I can't get past the first 15 - 20 minutes ( Lost in Translation and Mama Mia 2 fall into this category ).

You should give Lost in Translation another go ;)
Such a good film! Granted, it's a bit slow but it's meant to be, it's just a really good story.

Last night I watched the first few episodes of Katherine Ryan's new comedy:
The Duchess .

First impression is that a) it's trying too hard to be Fleabag , and b) she's much better at stand up than she is at acting.

Having said that it was pretty funny with some great characters. If you decide to give it a go be aware there's a lot of really bad language.

More episodes of The Duchess last night and I take back what I said about Katherine Ryan's acting, her character is developing nicely.

Very very funny series :D

Yesterday I watched Man United's first game of the season.
What a shambles :(

Followed that with another favourite horror film, American Mary.

I watched the first episode of Ratched last night - the story behind the iconic nurse character in "One Flew over The Cuckoo's Nest"

It's a bit of a slow starter but intriguing enough to keep me watching, and Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story) is excellent as always.

I watched a couple more episodes last night, I'm well and truly hooked.

Some gory stuff though.
The trepanning and lobotomy scenes made me wince a bit.

It was bugging me who the motel receptionist was, she looked so familiar... it's "Hunny Bunny" from Pulp Fiction (Amanda Plummer).
