So happy people are (re)discovering Parks and Rec; by far my favourite comedic show, with some great character work to boot!

Watched the latest RPDR All-Stars episode last night. Pretty disappointed in this All-Stars season so far as there seem to be a good few weak competitors, but the Lip Sync Assassin mechanic is pretty awesome.

Tried the newer Sabrina series. Couldn't make it through the first episode. It's just appallingly bad. I believe it was a Netflix series, so I should have known it would be awful beforehand. Oh well.

Is video talk allowed? Streaming is pretty much the current generation's version of Television.

Returned to finding content more interesting to me and found a person named David Bull. He is a Ukiyo-e craftsman. If you're interested in Japanese craftsmanship. I wholey recommend his work.

Watched one of my all time favourite films last night - The Blues Brothers.
Sat here with a big grin on my face for two hours, such a great film... and what a soundtrack!

I'm always amazed by the number of huge stars that have tiny roles in this film, it's absolutely packed with great cameos.

I watched Philadelphia (1993).

It was really sad and I was already crying at the end of the film and then they just HAD to show a clip of an adorable puppy and that broke the dam.

It's a good film that focuses on an important problem, but I don't think I'll watch it again lol

Heavy movies like this are good, but I agree that watching them more than once is probably never going to happen for me. So much emotion to experience, and a lot of that impact is lost when you know exactly what's coming.

On a lighter note, been watching Somebody Feed Phil lately, and it manages a surprisingly good balance of serious foodie/culture stuff (he meets up with A LOT of big name chefs and other cool local folks who are equally important but less well-known) and funniness through Phil himself and his dorkiness. Would recommend if you're looking for something lighter to detox from, say, something super intense.

We watched Million Dollar Baby recently and I cried really hard at the end of that. Afterwards, we watched Angels in the Outfield. It was super dumb and cute.

I watched thirteen hours of someone playing a game called Monster Train, it was mostly just background noise.

Aside from that I tried Rick and Morty. Maybe one episode out of the ten I watched was any good. So, I shan't be returning to it.

Watched the latest Will Ferrell film on Netflix:
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga

Not a huge fan of the real Eurovision, but loved this, absolutely hilarious.

I've been watching the latest season of Dark - 2 episodes a day. Such a good show. It's all coming together nicely. Some of the best sci-fi I've seen on TV.

Started new season of Doom Patrol as well. Looking to be another great season.
