I just watched the new Mortal Kombat. As someone whom grew up around that era yet never really enjoyed the franchise or the games overall.. it was still a pretty entertaining movie :P .

Finished all 3 seasons of
Code Black
and now started watching
All Saints
. Its an Australian hospital series. I've only watched a couple of episodes so far and I'm not sure if I'll stick with it. I haven't got interested in any of the characters yet except for one who was killed off. He was the one we were meant to dislike.

HBO Max has been throwing out some bangers lately! If you have the service, I'd also recommend the new Kong vs. Godzilla :P . Or even the new Justice League (four hours!!). This is assuming you have some free time on your hands.. and ALOT of it!

Not last night, but Monday night: Warm Bodies.

It's about a zombie apocalypse, but with a wholesome twist..
<mild spoiler(?) below>
Zombies start to slowly regain their humanity and with the help and understanding of the remaining humans, they rise up against the bonies , too-far gone zombies, to help save the human race. And how do they do it? It all begins with love! After a man kills a girl's boyfriend (zombie) and periodically eats his brain to regain his memories (to feel human again) and feel what he felt about her.. they team up to influence her father, the leader of a large and successful human alliance, to help take down the bonies!

We watched The Incredibles (2004) last night. I haven't seen it since around the time it came out.

I don't think the husband was much of a fan, and tbh it was kind of shocking how bad the CGI was in comparison to like, Shrek from 2001.

Covid has definitely made me watch more movies than I ever thought I'd ever watch in my life lol
Arrr! Only th' Devil an' I know th' where'bouts o' me treasure, an' th' one o' us who lives th' longes' should take i' all.
