It's Tom Cruise season at my house. Following on from War of the Worlds the other day,
I watched one of the cheesiest 80s movies: Top Gun

Corny as hell but loads of fun and some incredible action sequences.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

I think it's quite innovative and exciting. Without saying too much, it's a Netflix series about a family that go live in an old mansion that has magical keys hidden in them. Lots of different ideas and an interesting plot going on, just from the 4 episodes I've seen.
The kids and I watched this a while back now and thoroughly enjoyed it, Can't wait for the second season.

Absolutely, fantastic films. I think the second instalment: The Dark knight is my favourite because of Heath Ledger's amazing Joker. Gotta love Bane in the last one as well.

Just finished watching History 101, I wasn't going to watch the whole episode, I was just checking it out to see if it would be good for my boys to watch and I found it quite interesting and watched it all :)
If we have time tonight or tomorrow I might introduce it to them and see how it goes :)

Started watching a mini-series called "Quiz". It's about the guy who got caught cheating on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?". Only 3 episodes from the looks of it, but judging from the 1st episode, it seems like it'll be a good 3-parter. .
