K Pop isn't really my cup of tea, I'd never even heard the term until a couple of years ago when I heard an interesting track on a TV commercial and looked it up.
I don't remember the title but the band was called 2NE1

I know Next Level by Aespa, and the instrumental from Blackpink's Shut Down both appear on TV adverts recently in the UK too (for Vauxhall and Sky).

So I'm sure a lot of people have probably heard K-pop without realising. There's been a lot more exposure recently in news, media and at festivals, like Lollapalooza, BST Hyde Park and Coachella where Blackpink have featured as the headline act.

Not sure what happened to Psy, he had another minor success with "Gentleman" but I haven't heard anything about him since.
