I find that my preferred music comes from the Audio Portal on Newgrounds nowadays.
Either that or smaller artists / musicians in general: there's a lot of hidden talent scattered around.
On something mildly RS-related (sorry!), I found a track by a favourite user of mine and it literally sounds like something from the old-school selection of RuneScape music. He told me that the effect was accdental. I think the first few chords sound similar to the original version of 'Far Away', if anyone remembers that track from the game.
The song is called 'The Night Song' and I'll link it to anyone who wants to give it a listen.
