Hello,
Besides playing Runescape and other games, I was wondering what are some fun in-door hobbies people do at home during free time?
With the new surge of cases and COVID lockdown, I've been working and studying at home, and I sometime feel like i'm being locked in a cage... This, in fact, is slowly driving me insane day after day.
I am trying to avoid using the computer as much as possible because it's quite detrimental to my eyes and health.
Any advice?
-I've been trying to improve my cooking (not runescape cooking), but I don't want to keep going to the grocery store to buy food as people don't wear mask and it's too packed.

I make greeting cards. I have been collecting the various tools and materials for several years. I've now got so many supplies I could probably stock a small shop!
I try to mix the various methods of papercrafting to add interest. I really enjoy making cards but I wish I was better at colouring in stamped images.

I bought some adult coloring books and water pens. Those can keep me occupied.
In the hobby store they have a lot of stuff made out of wood that can be painted. I bought some miniature bird houses, small stencils and texture medium for a 3D effect and started putting my creative mind to work. I have one covered in Ivy (stencils and paint), another with snow on the roof (texture medium and paint). I covered one in glue and dabbed cotton all over it for a fuzzy bird house. These bird houses are too small for any bird. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them.
I like working in mind bending game magazines when I'm in the waiting room of a clinic.
A friend has taken up making beaded jewelry. She sells them online.
I made a Fisherman's Wharf in a shadow box. I use 1" x 2" wood for the frame. It was 18" wide, 12" high and 2" deep. There was the fisherman's shack, a pulley lift for his boat, yes I made the boat. Crab traps, a fishing net (yes, I made it), a pole light, fishing gear all made by me and other odds and ends. The roof was aged wood shingles I made and aged with strong black coffee. Took me about 2 months working on it now and again. All of it was made out of balsa wood
EDIT: I forgot to mention I wired it for electricity that used batteries for power. Even the pole light worked and, of course, the inside of the shack. I don't have it any more. A friend told a friend who lives on a beach about it. He bought it from me. I quoted $30.00 for it. He gave me a $50.00 bill and told me to keep the change.

That sounds wonderful. You are a miniaturist!
I've dabbled in making miniature scenes using 1/12th scale miniatures I've bought and making some items myself. Many years ago I did a wizard's fireplace scene for one of my sons. I had great fun making an ornate gold high backed chair from cardboard and a wizard's staff from a bamboo kebab skewer.
A very talented friend made me a room box of a steampunk workshop as a thank you for helping her during a difficult time. The back wall has a boiler and pipes. The ceiling has "iron" supports with "rivets". There's a workbench with a gizmo on it, a rack of tools on the wall and there's a "time machine" in the centre of the floor. The inventor wears a white shirt, checked trousers, a leather apron and a top hat adorned with goggles and gears. He has a friendly little robot in the corner. Its amazingly detailed and I love it!

I bought a "doll house" to put together. I'm thinking about making it a Halloween theme. Years ago, I was in a miniature store and saw a young lady making a miniature infant out of clay to put into a crib in one of the displays. It was fascinating watching her. In the course of conversation she said that she made all of the people in the displays. I walked around again and saw them in a different light. They look so real, not chiseled or whittled.
