I've tried making a 1/12th scale figure out of Fimo, the clay that you bake in an oven. I started with the head.... it didn't look quite human. If you've ever seen Deep Space Nine you'll understand...it looked like Odo :P no disrespect to Odo, he was my favourite character in that show, but that wasn't the look I needed for my project. I bought a ready made figure!

There are, also several adult coloring books you can download from the internet. I downloaded one called 'Zen Coloring Book for Adults'. It has artwork by many different artists and sketchers. Some very easy for a quick one, some very complicated when you're in for the long haul.

Many hobby shops have coloring books for adults. Stores that sell magazines sometimes have them, too.

I've bought the colouring books from the magazine section of the supermarket and also from The Works. The Works is a chain of stores in the UK that sell books, some craft materials and various other things.

edit to add: I prefer the books that have a design on just one side of the page because the colours can bleed through the paper to the back. It depends on the quality of the paper and what is being used. Felt tip pens always show up on the reverse.

On the front of the coloring book it'll say something like 'bleed through free paper' or similar to that.

Adding to the art theme y'all have going on, I would recommend origami...it can be very simple or complex (depending on what you're in the mood for) and it's super satisfying to complete a piece!

I used to make origami when i was in grade school, but I now don't recall how to make it. Maybe i'll look it up on Youtube.

Hi Sakurai,

Puzzles can be fun every now and then. It's best if you have a free table where you can just leave it out and work on it as you feel like it. Also, reading is great. The lockdown and pandemic really reminded me how much I actually enjoyed reading. Nowadays there are books for everything , so it just comes down to finding something that you're interested in whether it be how-to's, fantasy, sci-fi, nonfiction, etc. Something else I tried picking up was pen flipping/pen tricks. It sounds really silly because it is. It's quite literally just different ways of flipping pens around your fingers. It's completely pointless, but quite enjoyable.

Hope these suggestions help some :)

Apologize for the late reply since I have been busy and didn't have a chance to log on RS to read your comment. Yeah, I occasionally read novel at night right before bed and magazine when i eat my lunch. I don't have any puzzle at home. :(

Thank you for sharing :D
