the Satanic Temple, this group push equality, freedom of speech, and the separation of church and state.


is a new nontheistic religion founded in 2012

the Tenets of the Satanic Temple, first established in United states, but has chapters in Canada and United Kingdom.

the mission is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people.
and to highlight religion hypocrisy, and exposing christian privilege

THERE ARE SEVEN FUNDAMENTAL TENETS.

One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.

The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.

The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.

Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.

People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.


which is something i completely agree with.

before posting id suggest reading https://thesatanictemple.com/pages/about-us & https://thesatanictemple.com/pages/faq to find out exactly why satanic temple is awesome. as im sure most people will be hit with just the name with out actual understanding what the satanic temple is.

this thread is just awareness for the satanic temple and to create a better understanding. and that is how i will be responding to queries in regards to it.

The problem with Satanism is you don't have a celebrity endorser.

We have Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Krauss, Neil Degrasse Tyson and no other than Bill Nye the Science Guy are all under our payroll.

ohh i wouldnt classify myself as a satanist but i do support the cause of the satanic temple, which established in 2013 (very new)

While your Satanist church are busy erecting places of worship, we are expanding scientists memberships.

We're trying to recruit Dr. Michio Kaku and Dr. Brian Greene

However, they are too busy playing with "Strings" - they can't be bothered yet.

they arent erecting places of worship. as there is nothing to worship they are non theistic (dont believe in god or satan)
