"The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions".

Does this mean that the individual's sense of justice overrides the legal system of whatever country they reside in?

Fictional scenario:
A burglar breaks into your Mother's house and shoots her when disturbed.
A person is captured by the Police but walks free from Court due to a Jury finding that person innocent. They are deemed under the law to be innocent of the crime.

Does the member of the Satanic Temple then feel they have every right to mete out justice on the person who was accused but found innocent, if that member believes that the person was, in fact, guilty but the law merely failed to prove it sufficiently to a Jury?

This seems a bit anarchic?

Ive not viewed this that way before. Thank you.
Going from what the temple has done i would say no they wouldnt take it in their own hands.

What they have done is get laws changed.

But that is very good question. But to my knowledge the temple has never taken the law into their own hands. They follow laws to the t and use them to their advantage. So taking them in their own hands would do more harm considering how they use them

Re-reading my post - I didn't mean to imply that the Temple would condone such things, sorry if it came across like that !

I'm not blessed with the ability to think outside the box very often, but that tenet just sort of jumped out at me.

I'm interested in you saying that they have managed to get laws changed .... care to expand?

oh no i didnt read that way dont worry. it was just the way i could answer as honestly as i could by saying what i did

i appreciate that lmao it was a good, as i stopped and thought about it.

its mainly religious laws, and to do with schools. and wanting to get rid of church and state.
so they use the laws in place already. by having a satanic after school club, if there is one for christianity. and getting baphomet statue next to a 10 commandment statue. if theres one for christianity then they should be able to get one for stanic temple no issues at all. if they do get into issue. then its showing the privileged of Christianity in the US. (when christians say they are being victims) thats the main thing they are fighting.

its mainly for the "first amendment" about religious freedom.

theyve been turned down many times even though christianity has something erected. thats the fight on their hands.

Interesting.
I was unsure about "Baphomet" so asked Friend Google - who turned up this piece:
https://ultraculture.org/blog/2016/02/08/baphomet-sabbatic-goat/

What's your thoughts on that piece .... accurate or distorted?
Wiki says something along similar lines.

It was startling to read the claim that the name is alleged to have roots in the Muslim religion.
