Whats a weird way of describing how something tastes for example i had a coworker a few days ago eat a slice of green pepper and he said "it tastes like a watermelon rine if the rine was sitting across the room yelling at u" which was the most beautiful way ive ever heard describe how something tastes lmao

what have u heard or said to describe how something tastes

My husband likes eating baby sweetcorn. To me it smells like stagnant pond water and tastes how I imagine the water would taste. This week we bought a mixed pack of baby sweetcorn and mange tout ( I like mange tout). The sweetcorn had 'contaminated' the mange tout so that it also smelled and tasted of stagnant water. *shudders*

I always thought that root beer tastes the same as the smell of Germolene antiseptic.
Taste and smell are closely connected so it kinda makes sense :P

The methylated surgical spirits smell exactly like wintergreen (Probably an American thing) tictacs taste. Love it.

Thanks Brig, you're right...it is wintergreen that is common to both root beer and Germoloene.
And now I'm craving a root beer :P
