So at the beginning, I thought The Walking Dead was going to redeem itself, like it was responding to my post about the whole brain scan thing.

Lizzie talks about how walkers are still people, just different people. Similar to how she'll be different when she's older. I felt so sure Carol was going to say something along the lines of, "The difference is that getting older makes your brain more developed. The walkers lose all brain functions except their ability to move, and even that's only initiated by the virus. The virus is just using a dead body to feed."

Carol's actual response? "It's more complicated." ._.

I was able to accept that the science behind the brain scan scene is inaccurate (you pretty much have to expect a lack of scientific accuracy with zombie and/or apocalypse shows and movies, and not worry about it). I guess in the same way, I'm just going to have to accept that the brain scan scene was just for the audience and that I need to pretend the characters never actually saw it.

Hi there! :)
I've always thought the same thing. It's like that episode never happened or they just forgot about it. I surely didn't! It's such a simple thing to explain so it really makes no sense.

I was actually shocked about the end of this episode.

the good news is that rick saw what carol is all about , the bad news is that hes still a bad leader , the first decision he made about the new couple was the right one ( stay here and rest cause your both hurt ) but then carol stepped in and make him change his decision , he didnt stood by his decision and he knew it was the right one and then as usual in rick he felt bad.

and remember carol never went to look for sophia not even once and she wasnt injured, she was always at the farm flirting with daryl , and according to her new code they should have left sophia behind , shes a complete psycho and she would kill again, good thing that rick finally saw this.

and that lizzie girl shes completely and utterly insane , shes gonna open the prison gates to her zombie friends one of these nights , shes the one feeding the zombies and the way she talked about them sounded like she wanted to become one.

i also think that rick should have killed carol , but im not worried about her, she wont last a week alone shes only good at killing sick ppl in their sleep and bob the drunk guy i think daryl put him in order and having some booze in the prison is good for moral im not worried about bob , daryl was used to deal with merle he can handle bob.

if i had sniped rick and carol those 2 nice ppl that offer fruit to strangers would still b alive.

Hey ^_^

Yeah. They really should have done something with what they learned at the lab. Not just use it when someone needs to know, but also write that information down and teach it to survivors to help prevent this mindset that walkers are still human. (Imagine a Walkers-Rights group vehemently protesting against killing "sick people" D: )

And I was shocked at the end of the episode too. Couldn't believe Rick had actually done it until after it happened.

I don't know about opening the prison gates for the walkers - maybe - but I do have the feeling that she's going to do something stupid. Like in a moment of passion, prevent someone from killing a walker and it ends up killing someone in the group. I dunno, I just feel like she's going to cause problems since Carl and Carol couldn't properly explain to her what walkers really are.

My reaction to that last scene of tonight's episode:

Music: Dun... Dun... Dun...

Me: Could it be?

*A few seconds later*

Me: It is!

(SPOILER ALERT)

Can't believe eye-patch man (I know what he's really called) is back! Though it'll probably be a few episodes before he does anything.

Orc, you are over exaggerating everything. Rick isn't a bad leader, he just had a rough time at the end of season 2 and most of season 3.

Carol didn't spend all her time "flirting" with Daryl. She couldn't look for Sophia because she had no idea how to use a weapon and didn't have any knowledge to help them. Also, Carol doesn't have some "new code", and she isn't a psycho. She saw a potential threat to the group so she took care of it, while it may not have been the right choice it doesn't make her a murderous psychopath. You saw her freak out after talking to Tyrese - she felt tremendous guilt. And there was a logical reason behind the killing, unlike the governor who will gun someone down without thinking.

As for Lizzie... she's not all there but you can't really blame her. Her father was killed in front of her. Though I doubt she's going to open the gates to the zombies.

Also, if you think Rick should have killed Carol by your logic wouldn't Rick be a psychopath? Your reasons for why these people should die are far from logical.

Finally, stop saying "if I sniped them" like you have an impact on the show. And Rick and Carol didn't get those two killed. If anything they saved them. Remember, when they found them they were hiding in a bathroom with nothing but some fruit. They would have died. Plus, going out to help was their choice - who is Rick to tell them what to do?
