Poor United fans, long season ahead.

Mourinho demanding respect was embarrassing
Shaw, Williams, prepared to venture down the left. There’s a good ball in for Tony Morley. Oh, it must be... It is... Peter Withe !

What a shambles. :(

Though United were a changed team for the first twenty minutes, loads of enthusiasm and energy... and then...

It's gonna be a long season. Poor defence, Lukaku and Pogba seem incapable of getting anything on target.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Then we going to lose to Burton! lol

9 changes, League cup more of a distraction for teams looking to get promoted/dont need the extra revenue, realistically never going too win it.

Probably a good thing

Another cracking signing in Tammy Abraham.

Abraham, Kodjia
Bolasie, McGinn, Grealish, El Ghazi

A team with them 6 should be bossing the Championship, Hopefully Bruce does the business but I fear his style of football will hold them all back

Only game I've watched this weekend so far was the Millwall vs Swansea game. Millwall were terrible, and Swansea were down to ten men after five minutes.

Jefferson Montero definitely was the difference upon coming on.

I saw Villa fans were questioning whether Bruce should be sacked after that latest performance. Not sure myself, as I don't watch them enough to have much of an opinion. I do know from previous history that Steve Bruce teams are horrible to watch.

Old firm game was okay too. Celtic were the better side as they usually have been for ages now.

Steven Gerrard set up Rangers to be too defensive. Tavernier was awful for Rangers and has been all season. Allan McGregor kept it to only one goal, but also should have been sent off.

Celtic should have scored more.

On another note. I can't believe Celtic got nearly twenty million for Dembele.

Decent performance from United yesterday, shame about the ridiculous "head butt" incident that fooled the ref. Neither or both players should have been red carded. Neither in my opinion.

Horrible to watch is an understatement and losing the way we did at the weekend was nothing short of embarrasing

Thats only acceptable if we're winning games, problem is now, we have argubley the best strike force, only WBA could argue against that and I'm pretty confident in saying the best Midfield, on paper. However....we now have the worst Defence and looks like the worst keeper.

It's a case of can't teach an old dog new tricks ain't it with Bruce? Can we really expect him to change his style of play, I can't see it and would probably be happy to see him leave now, he's tried and failed with a team last season that should be getting automatics but I was happy too see him stay and give it another go but we're now 8 games into the season and he's being too stubborn, time for an attacking manager, someone like Dean Smith from Brentford, who coincidently is a Villa fan and grew up coming to Villa park
