been waiting to not have to listen to buckethead again lol

7/10 excellent song start to finish, every part sounded great. only reason i wont rate it higher is personally its not my preferred subgenre

4/10. Only the music was good. Vocals were shit, lyrics were shit.

Btw, I will keep posting Buckethead because he has well over 1000 different tracks that are all uniquely different from each other.

Here's a heavier one since I was expecting somebody who actually appreciated him to listen to the other.

6.5/10 buckethead is buckethead. i did listen through the whole thing as i think every song here deserves to. it's good and has a catchy riff, but nothing particularly extraordinary. the part at 6:30 was cool tho, has a futuristic vibe to it. adding some vocals to the mix would have been a nice change

i don't think taking your anger out on the artist is really necessary

It's not that I don't appreciate him, it's just that it gets tiring when it's literally always Buckethead, haha. There's no need to get upset anyway, I liked the track and rated it a very fair 7 :p

10/10 that track always cracks me the fk up. That entire album is genius.

Not commenting on his video, just making a point. The thread had no issues at all, then I graded a catchy video/song and posted my buckethead song for the first time in a month. and I got these posts when I came back. Agalloch said :

So Sorry if I feel like you guys rudely disrespected My Favorite Artist just for trying to share him in a thread for sharing music. I already posted in the past TWICE for nosword to not comment on my songs. He is only into harsh vocals and Buckethead is no vocals. make sense? I graded his fairly, I really only liked the instruments, the lyrics and vocals behind them were garbage in my opinion, which is why I never liked Judas Priest.

I will continue posting Buckethead, regardless of who votes on it, just don't disrespect me for doing so. but Thank you CherryWaves for being nice about it.

i was about to hit post before seeing this. normally i don't bother getting involved in disagreements but i kinda feel the need to. you gotta stop taking criticism from an opinion based thread personally & you can't ban someone from participating in a public game

they just made an honest comment on how tiresome the lack of variety can be, which i agree with - often times i find myself skipping this thread as there is only so much of one artist i may not be all too keen on that i can take. think of it from another perspective: you didn't like a deftones song i posted. they're really perosnal to me and probably my favourite band & i could happily post their material endlessly, but i get not everyone will like them. it sucks to see your favourite artist shit on but people have their own tastes and opinions and you have to respect that

anyway back to what i'm actually here for lol

7.5/10 link doesn't work here again idk why, but it's in my library anyway. slayer is slayer. lol i feel this song doesn't get the attention it deserves compared to their other material. the riff is chunky and the drums motivate me to get shit done. fitting title too, fite me

This is my last post on the topic. Sorry for the derailment. I'm flustered because the disrespect was completely unjustified. Everything about the thread was fine and I did not post once in almost a whole month, but the second I post a buckethead song, I get hate for it. K.

This is not being personal about his choice of artist, nor his choice of song. It was a new song to me, and I graded it as I normally would've. take it as you please. Probably would've gotten an 8/10 if the shit vocals weren't there, but they were, and the drums were still lacking to me.

You do not listen to enough Buckethead to be able to tell me, or anybody here, if one song is anything like the previous. Take a listen to my history here and tell me there's "no variety" again. The reason I post him is because almost everything he does adds to his insanely wide variety of genres and tones.

Also, for one post in a month, you would think my Buckethead IS variety compared to everybody else.

Is not nearly the same thing. Me saying I did not like it to one song, is not the same thing as if I said "you post too much deftones, learn something different" which I haven't done yet to anybody, and never plan to because that's disrespectful.

They can grade the songs without additional comments dissing my choice of artist. and the following poster was not grading my song, but commented disrespectfully towards me anyway. If they didn't disrespect me simply for posting my favorite artist, this wouldnt be a discussion. If they don't like when I post Buckethead, they can save it for somebody else who does/might appreciate him instead.

Sorry for being heated about it, but seriously, this is stupid.
