Did honestly think of that when I looked at the album. Oh and that second track is brilliant. I just wish I had listened to their music sooner. Actually your username is how I first heard of them lol.

In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion is probably my favorite song of all time, so glad to hear you like it! Always makes me happy to see people enjoy Agalloch, haha.

8/10 always heard good things about ELP, but I've only ever heard a couple songs. This was good.

I used to think this was my favorite song of all time, because it has my favorite moment in all of music (that acoustic break with the clean solo layered on top starting at 4:10), but I like In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion a bit more as a whole. That moment I mentioned still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it though.

10/10 - Wow. All the instruments honestly sound amazing! Really like the combination of acoustic and electric. Like both vocals styles but I especially like the clean vocals. And I do think that acoustic solo is something special. After hearing this I just felt I had to give my opinion lol. Will now go ahead and listen to the rest of this album.

9/10 loved that. Kind of reminded me of Stars of the Lid a bit. Speaking of SotL, here's one of their members' solo projects. My favorite track of his.
