where i live in colorado is higher elevation than the peak of the tallest mountain here. not only that i went from vodka which has 40% alc to beer at 3-4% alc. i cant even feel it lol. im sure in a week or two i'll be normal. but when i go back to colorado i will be the ultimate lightweight
Old School
I've seen beers at 9% volume. And while I was at Lanzarote I saw bottles of absinthe that were 85%. And that is literally death in a bottle.
Prepare for hell on RuneScape in
Naval Cataclysm!
People do actually buy things like Everclear, which is 95%, so it's not that strange. And you could easily have a shot of that once a day and live for a long time.
Not sure why you people are fussing over high ABV drinks - so long as you have the same amount of actual alcohol it doesn't make a difference.
I don't think I've ever met anyone that would restrict themselves that much when it comes to alcohol. Here it is either large quantities of alcohol or no alcohol.
Which obviously doesn't mean that there aren't people that restrict themselves in a proper manner.
The fascination is that such high levels of alcohol are pretty rare. I'm mostly used to seeing lower levels. Such as our nation's problem with Buckfast.
