I don't think I've heard of New Forest. I like this little place, which I forget it's name, on an island called Bute. You can watch them make it and it's some of the best I've ever had.
I love watching how things are made, especially if you get to try it out afterwards! New Forest is based around the South Coast area and may not have reached that far up North, yet.
I've made my own ice cream with Condensed milk, cream and coffee. It is pretty good but goes rock solid in the freezer - I've bent a few spoons trying to dish it out.

What in the world is hokey pokey ice cream? Description, pl0x!
It's a New Zealand icecream, you can buy it overseas in specialist shops. Umm how to describe it, it's a creamy vanilla icecream with lots of hokey pokey bits through it, which are crunchy. It's best to Google it, and if you can find a shop that sells it - try it
