Sorry, I had to zip to Gen Chat lounge thread for a moment.
Icy Spring, your post was hidden
because
the chat lounge is not the place to complain about j mod actions or f mods or to continue bringing up the recent drama, which Apple politely asked everyone to stop.
Blainyyy, please stop as it isn't making the situation any better. It's extremely obvious that your flamebaiting and accusations are not a way to fix the problem.
Edit: to add a
missing word
from last night before i went to sleep
like a chica cherry cola

You are correct that the goodbyes were polite and not offensive, but they were entangled with other posts that were continuing to bring up the drama. When those types of comments are a part of the other talk, such things aren't easily separated out.
I am guessing from the time stamps that Cat most likely saw those posts, though.
Which begs the question why hide the nice ones from many hours ago? Apart from the resentment and anger there is no positive.
I've gone over this before with jagex and I'm going to have to do it again some mods don't learn. By that I mean by attempting to halt the discussion by hiding the posts all that has happened is it has been prolonged even more.

When cat said goodbye I, Bernadette and Jane Eyre left out own good bye messages.
Naturally they were hidden along with all the other stuff. I wasn't on long after midnight so don't know anything about what was said after.
I'll be reiterating these words to Mod Infinitity:
Sometimes posts will be hidden if a moderator feels that the specific post will incite rule breaking content – the actual post itself may not be in violation of the code of conduct, but if there’s a risk that keeping the post visible will bait offensive/disruptive content, then as a precaution it will be hidden and an explanation given.
It’s important the above isn’t treated as a ‘catch-all’ however, and over-zealous moderators are provided feedback about how to handle situations which could have been dealt with better. Our rules haven’t been updated for some time now, but common sense should prevail over the rules, and JMods will always endeavour to apply common sense thinking to situations rather than the ‘letter of the law’ so to speak. This is an attitude we’ve been sharing with the FMods, and I feel the team as a whole is slowly starting to become more susceptible to it.
