I think I want to take a break anyway. This year is going the stress the hell out of me with my dissertation, and I don't think I'm ready for post-grad level work with the way I procrastinate.
Oh yeah, it was about a particular school. Carnegie Mellon is asking me to submit both an official transcript and an unofficial one. And they want the official one to arrive first -- before the actual application deadline.
why even ask for an unofficial one

And they're charging less for the application fee if you get it in early.
I've heard multiple shady things about CMU admissions. I know this guy that was on their waiting list for undergrad, and they told him if he coughed up an extra $500, they'd let him in for sure.
