I personally like people to call me "Steven". And my girlfriend's allowed to call me "Steve". People have actually said they loved my name.
My initials spell "SCAM". Simply put, I shouldn't have picked "Andrew" as my confirmation name.

She's "allowed" to call you Steve. Are you one of those people who get really possessive in relationships? Now it's, "You're allowed to call me Steve." Soon it'll be, "You're allowed to step outside for two seconds. Any more, and I'll smack your face in."
