Interesting...I've lived in the Southern half of the USA for most of my life, and I don't think I've ever heard anyone say the Southern accent is sexy, at least not here. I don't think our accent is sexy, far from it and I would say most Kiwi's would feel the same. I hate our our accent on TV series and movies - not all our celebrities I feel this about but a hell of a lot of them.

And I don't think I say Fush and Chups, I'm pretty sure I say Fish and Chips...
