Waiting for the gas people to come and turn off the supply so the pipe to our gas meter can be replaced. All the gas pipes in my area are being upgraded. There are holes in the pavements, on people's driveways and across some roads. Barriers are in place and some lucky people have covers over the holes ( we're one of the lucky ones ) but it all looks a mess. Btw I am talking about gas gas not the name for petrol used by some countries.

The new pipe has been run to the meter and a new airtight cupboard for the meter has been installed. The gas has been turned back on but it will need to be turned back off later this week when they've installed a new gas main and we get connected to that.
At the moment I'm watching TV, browsing the forums and eating a cereal bar.
