A while ago I made a thread of the same name, which no longer exists. Thought it would be fun to start again. Just another place to discover different music.

Clearly there is a lot of music out there, which means a lot of studio recordings. However another part of music is live performances. This could be playing music in public, in front of an audience or even just playing in a room somewhere. Anything as long as it isn't a studio recording.

Just post a video from somewhere like YouTube and rate each track people post out of 10. If you want then feel free to give your opinion on it as well. Obviously make sure any track is appropriate to be posted here.

Even if you may still be spending more time at home at least there is music to enjoy.

Here is the first one to start this off:

Thom Yorke - The Clock

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1nFB-R-_gI

Played live for Henry Rollins Show. From 2006.

Wonderful idea for a thread :D

I remember when this performance aired, I was a huge fan of this album, and seeing this performance totally blindsided me, it's so raw and incredible. It also made me realize I had a LONG way to go as a guitar player hahaha. This gets a 10/10 from me :)

Exactly lol. I wish I could play guitar like that. My dad plays guitar but I have no clue lol. I'm good at piano though.

Awesome performance! The chest slapping is really ingenious, haven’t seen that done before. 9/10

I was going to choose Radiohead’s performance of Weird Fishes / Arpeggi but seeing as you’re a Thom Yorke fan I’m going to assume you’ve seen it already. ;) I hope you enjoy this instead!

8.5/10 - Bob Dylan is very good. Honestly haven't listened to that much of his music so this was great to hear.

9/10 - That sounded great! She has a really good voice. I would say this definitely deserves more than 400 views.

9/10 I always love piano

Jeff Loomis - Jato Unit

Some shred. His skill is unbelievable; I can't imagine how many hours of practice it would take to get THAT good at guitar, haha

7/10! Amazing guitar playing, truly phenomenal, but not the most interesting performance considering it's to a backing track. Would love to see this guy with a live band!
