Am I the only one here who doesn't hold TTGL in very high esteem?

On a unrelated note, just finished Higurashi Kai. I really liked it, but it just seemed like it was lacking that creepy horror aspect from the first season. However, in exchange, it gained a plot and still managed to send shivers down my spine. I think my biggest complaint would be everything they left unexplained, mainly Satoshi's condition and how all the character's lives proceeding from the end in general (I couldn't care less what happened in Rika's life though).

Thus concludes my short review, now if you'll excuse me the final episodes of Psycho-Pass and Robotics;Notes are out.

ok.......That was awesome thats my short review of TTGL
dont understand how kamina is ranked 14th on mal overall character list and simon is as low as 82 hes awesome from like ep 14-27

edit:robotics notes ending was kind of well crap...

Satoshi's condition is one of those 'do we really need to explain this?' things. We already know that he was suffering from the advanced stages of Hinamizawa Syndrome when he killed his aunt and that the symptoms of such generally do not generally involve the sufferer going comatose. We also know that Irie is heading up the research for the cure and that Satoshi is being kept in the research lab, so its easy enough to deduce that Irie is keeping him in a medically induced coma until he can develop a cure.

As for everyone else, well, does 'they got on with their lives and everything proceeded as normal henceforth' really need to be stated. There is an overall series epilogue (not the 'perfect world' epilogue from Rei), but thats only in manga form.

Well in the second half of the series simon grew up to be a clone of kamina, and in my opinion did not pull it off as well as kamina did. that and kamina was killed off at the peak of his development and at a point where no one was expecting it helped to make him quite memorable
