Kawase Kohei, the producer of Warner Entertainment Japan, revealed on a web radio program that there will be an announcement at the end of the final episode of Little Busters!. He said, "We know it's impossible to cover the whole story with the current pace. We have promised to animate the entire scenario of the game. I cannot make it clear here but you know what I mean, right? If you watch the 26th episode, there will be a message that you want. Please don't be suspicious. The arcs of your favorite characters will surely be animated. We know 26 episodes is too short."

^No, go away...

And Tomoko, that does not necessarily mean that there will be a second season, it just means it's a strong possibility.

Little Busters! in general has just been a little disappointing. I wouldn't call it bad, but after playing through some of the VN, the animation just pales in comparison. I will watch whatever they plan on making in the future (most likely a second season) just because I want to see the Rin2 arc as well as some other character arcs they've neglected thus far, which I'm hoping they don't mess with too much. However, for a Key anime, I'm not all that impressed at this point.

Yes, I've seen that message before. Now that we're further down the road I'm curious about exactly what that means, especially considering that there is no 26th episode (the series is only set to run for 25). Initially I thought that meant they were going to be gloss over a few arcs in order to fit the whole story into one double-season show, but now that were at this point I have to wonder, since the only route that can readily be glossed over by now is Yuiko's (cant have Refrain without Rin2, wouldn't make sense).

So unless this message is a 'oh, by the way, were doing Saya, Sasami and Kanata as OVA's (Sasami and Kanata get routes in LB! EX, Saya is a new character. She's appeared a few times in the anime already though, in the background) then I cant imagine what else it could be besides a second season announcement.

Also, subject of, if you guys want to contribute to a bit of a project I'm working on. Just a bit of market research I'm doing for fun, looking at trends in peoples heroine preferences when it comes to harem anime. What I'm after is lists of favorite to least favorite heroine from Key works, sorted by title, anime adapted or not. I'll be doing other sub-types of harems later.
