Well if you can't get the past the first season no need to watch it then. It just gets progressively worse and worse as it goes on but I still think it was a good watch. Didn't particularly care for season 3 much at all though.

and ye season 3 was...meh totally different from first 2 seasons although final ep gave me everything i wanted to see at least

I'm not sure if this new Higurashi series is OVA's or not. One would assume so considering that the last 2 entries into the franchise were. Based on the information Ive seen regarding it I would say its either a short series or a one-off like nekogoroshi (hopefully with more actually happening this time). Dosent seem to be an OVA compilation like Rei and Kira.

tried to watch anime once, hated it. tried to watch it yesterday, still hated it. Never have found out why people like it so much its just like an american cartoon but in a different language. I do like avatar though, somewhat like anime I guess.

Honestly, it sounds to me like your watching the wrong type of anime if your able to make that statement. Anime covers all the genres of other entertainment mediums, and a few of its own, so it really is impossible for somebody to dislike every anime, in much the same way that its highly unlikely for everybody to like all of them.

If I may ask, what titles are we talking here? If the response to this question is 'Naruto', then I think ive found your problem.

PS-Just cause it looks superficially like anime, dosent make it one.

I don't like to read the subtitles and watch whats going on at the same time. I'm to lazy for that. I also cant stand 99% of the females voices, they sound like fricken pokemon.
But I have watched a few series on this website filled with anime(i forget the name) to try and find one I like and still haven't found one. Ill stick with football.

It's not like American cartoons. Well some of it is such Pokemon which is targeted at kids. Anime encompasses all genres and all demographics. Just pick any TV program or movie you recently watched and imagine it being entirely animated basically.

And what anime did you try to watch anyway? I'm curious.
