So, the new season is more or less upon us. Just looking over the list, cant spot anything that's particularly standing out as significantly brilliant at first glance, seems like a pretty average season all things considered (right down to the presence of a 'female version of nobunaga' anime that im going to avoid like the plague). Not so bad though a few things are getting my interest based on the synopsis:
-Kokoro Connect
This is the one that jumps out at me as the one that I might potentially enjoy the most, though there's a lot of 'maybe' there which is all going to depend on how the series is handled and were they decide to go with it. And they could go in a fair few directions just based on the synopsis, whether the story goes the gender bent route or just shuffles characters with their respective genders, the effect that has on interpersonal relationships should be interesting to observe.
- Koko Naku ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru
I'm getting the feeling that watching this is going to be like watching School Days, for the fact that when I saw School Days I already knew somewhat how it ended, but didn't know the exact details. As long as they aren't overly obvious about it, watching this while playing a meta-game of 'pick the little sister' might be fun. Calling it now based on character designs and promo art, the black haired one is the girl the MC gets with in the end, and the brown haired one with the furry ornament thingies is the little sister....unless that's just what they want me to think....
-La Storia della Arcana Famiglia
Sounds kind of interesting, not really any particular comments on the synopsis beyond that for this one. Thius will give me a bit of an indication as to how well JC Staff can deal with a branching storyline as opposed to a linear one (as reference for when LB! comes out). Also kind of interested in the fact that this is the first otome game that I recall being animated, kind of interesting to see how it differs from a typical VN.
