I've watched a few anime shows that were decent.
One that I really enjoyed as a little kid was Zoid*. That show is so sick!

Anime (Looks, Quality, Soundtrack and urggh Filler) :
Bleach > Naruto > One Piece (As of Recent).
Bleach has one hell of a killer soundtrack and looks pretty damn decent. Only Naruto Part 1 can come close to it to be honest but then they pretty much ruined it by adding tony tiger into the mix. One piece has REALLY bad filler, and I mean REALLY BAD with only one of the filler arc's being tolerable. And the Animation is pretty Average. Naruto's can be as bad as one piece but it's usually tolerable. In the whole bleach has pretty tolerable filler however they do like to drag it out a lot.
Manga(Story, Plot, Characters, Quality of Art) :
One Piece > Naruto > Bleach (As of recent).
This is as of recent, Naruto has gone seriously downhill at part 2 but is getting better again. Naruto used to have a great set of characters however in part 2 it's been focusing WAY WAY too much on Sasuke and Naruto.
Bleach has gone abysmal as of late, The bad guy is possible the most boring and bland villain I have ever seen, Gin is so much better than Aizen..., The most recent manga chapters have practically been blank pieces of paper. Kubo needs to go back to his original art style earlier in the series and fast.
As for one piece, well it's got a nice array of characters which unlike Naruto the author isn't totally ignoring for the main Characters, The artwork is the best at the moment, however the earlier works of Bleach and Naruto do trump it in my opinion.
Also beserk beats them all but that's not shonen

I would still like Bleach... but when you're related to an obsessive fanfic writer, that causes you to dislike their series of choice
. My favorites are Soul Eater and Detective Conan (known as "Case Closed" in America). I watched a bit of Naruto... I still don't get why a ninja would wear an orange jumpsuit... aren't they supposed to be dark and stealthy?
