Just finished watching the 3x3 eyes ova's again.
I first watched them when i was like 9 years old. So it felt really nostalgic to see them again. They're 7 episodes in total and cover the first 5 chapters of the manga. The first part is 4 episodes and was released in 1991 and the second part is 3 episodes and was released in 1995.
Very good stuff.

Agreed, Steins;Gate was pretty awesome, I just finished it about a week ago. Not sure where you got the info concerning what it was adapted from though, the anime was adapted from a visual novel of the same title made by Nitroplus.
Unless that was a bad attempt at a meme that stopped being funny years ago.

@Ledgard 1996
Evidence in support of your argument?

@Marineford
Makoto's arc got to you to huh? That was the bit that turned me into a Key fan to begin with, and the first time that tears were shed over a piece of media.
As for After Story, Ive never really been able to understand why so many people consider it to be the best and saddest of the 5 (or four, depending on whether you cant Clannad After Story as separate from the first season). No emotion from me at all, so I actually consider it to be the worst of the 4/5.

"Finished Madoka Magica last night.
-POTENTIAL SPOILERS-
Surely Madoka could've wished that the universe was completely normal without witches and Puella Magi, instead of ridding the universe of just witches and being stuck as a 'non-existant' Magi herself? Seems like she wasted her wish a bit and ended up worse-off than she could have been."

Jesse B77 already gave you an acceptable answer, but I think there's a more important reason why Madoka didn't wish to get rid of all witches throughout history. As Kyube mentioned when he was explaining the situation to Madoka, girls throughout history have altered history and made huge civilization advancements. To cancel those would change life as they know it.
The method she chose allowed the wishes to come true nonetheless and to prevent all the negative feelings that occurred as a result of the mahou shoujo.

Blue October:
The majority of people watching it noticed it's extremely like an anime called Code Geass. It has two seasons of 24 episodes and it used to be my favourite of all time until Steins;Gate came out this summer. If you like Guilty Crown and you haven't watched Code Geass, I very highly recommend it to you.

@Nox Lupo
I have seen around 620 anime series. (It's a lot, I know =p)
Code Geass was one of my first, and definitely one of my favorites. I do agree that Guilty Crown is very similiar, and that similarity is probably what draws me into liking both of them. =)
