Fun anime eh? I think everyone has a different view on that, but here are the shows I think are fun:
-Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni (comedy)
-Mawaru Penguindrum (fantasy, comedy)
-No.6 (sci-fi)
These might be fun too, but they both have a Victorique-like character:
-Kamisama no Memochou (mystery)
-Dantalian no Shoka (fantasy)

Current Summer Anime I'd Reccommmend:
Top 2
Usagi Drop- This one is a really cute story about a father raising his daughter -insanely cute daughter-. Very heartwarming anime thats bound to leave a smile on your face.
Mayo Chiki- This one is extremely funny (imo ofc). Essentially, its about a girl that cross dresses as a boy in this rich girl's house, she works at a butler.
Other Good Ones
No.6- This one is pretty interesting so far if you're into the whole "utopian society" theme. Its about 2 boys, one a genius student, the other other a runaway, who escape their totalitarian government and make it to the wastelands of the outside. And yeah, like most comments, it has a little bit of boys love in it.
R-15- This one is kinda funny, its a school filled with geniuses and the main character is a smut writer. And he tries to win over the class with his smut writing skills.

Eh...
Manyuu Hikenchou- I only recommend this one if you're bored...if you're bored and want something to make fun of, you can try the most potentially stupid storyline in anime history. Its about a group of ninjas that go on "*** hunts" and try to steal girl's melons to increase their own, because in their world, big ass jugs mean everything and those without them aren't human. It could have been a good comedy..but they tried to make serious so it failed lol
Ones I don't recommend
Sacred Seven- Its not that it was THAT bad of an anime but it felt so generic that I just didn't like it really and stopped after the second episode.

There is no such thing in the anime. I recommend watching at least the first two episodes, because the whole first episode is a flashback - the real story begins in episode 2.

I reccommend watching Dragon Ball Z or One Piece. I find them both to be great.

I just finished one of the lowest rated anime last season, Hidan No Aria...... For me honestly, if the viewer sees the series as an action harem - then there is nothing bad about it really. If you expect a harem with a solid storyline, then there is something wrong with you.
