I just started watching anime the other day. Someone suggested I watch Death Note, I was really surprised about how deep it actually is, it's not like a cartoon at all. And I almost cried when he killed the investigator's fiance in episode 7!

Eojis, you want deep, watch fullmetal alchemist.
Blood, a lot of mature moments in it among other things.
Death Note and Fullmetal alchemist are pretty similar in my book. :)

Feel sorry for the girl, when she uh, exploded, well, when her father turned her into a chimera really. :(
EDIT:
I love it though how in episode 7, at the end, when Ed realises what he has done, how he starts beating the crap out of him when he finds out. :D I would have let him continue. :P
