The best anime, in my opinion, is dragonaut the resonance, school rumble, naruto shippuden, inuyasha, el cazador de bruja, kenichi, and k**kaishi.

Could anybody recommend a new anime for me to watch?
I'd prefer dubbeb anime over subbed, though i'm willing to keep an open mind :P
So, to get an idea of what i might enjoy:
I'm in the process of watching Bleach, currently at the new captain arc. Enjoyed every single episode of Bleach so far, currently at ep. 175 ish
Naruto; got to the fillers and then got bored. I moved onto shippuden but soon lost interest. I did find the main story of Naruto good, though. Especially the retrieve Sasuke arc.
Death Note; the only anime i've fully watched and finished. And, honestly, the best. The intense situations and police-thriller theme just..aww! It was just amazing, and i'm prone to watching it again from time to time :P
.Hack/SIGN; I'm not too sure about this. I enjoyed the main story (Kid stuck in the game) yet through the character developement, i kind of lost interest as lots of things were happening and i was still left wonder '*** is this, wha??!' So, yeah :P
FullMetal Alchemist; i'm not too sure about this one, either. I already know the story, and so maybe that's why i'm a bit reluctant to continue watching.
DBZ; I'm thinking of starting this. I originally watched this in my childhood, but have since forgotten everything in it :P Is it worth watching?
Vampire Knight; i've read two books of the series, though unfortunately there is no anime out, to my knowledge.
Finally; i'm in to deep storylines where the characters mean something, and yet the intense action and satisfying feeling when a main character epicly thwarts the bad guys.
Thank-you :)

Here's some anime series that I consider some of the best. You can do further research into them, but if you're looking for something new to watch, i'd recommend the following animes (They are in the order that i would personally rank them; number 1 being the best IMO):
1. Elfen Lied
2. Clannad + Clannad: After Story
3. Angel Beats!
4. The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
5. Lucky Star
6. Kanon
7. AIR TV
8. School Days
Let me know what you think if you decide to follow up on these recommendations. :3
EDIT:
"Finally; i'm in to deep storylines where the characters mean something, and yet the intense action and satisfying feeling when a main character epicly thwarts the bad guys."
For this above quote by you, the only one of the recommendations above that perfectly fits it is Elfen Lied. But i warn you, it's "one of the most notorious" animes out there, with it being ranked as one of the top goriest animes ever made. There's also some clotheless scenes, but nothing 'hentai-like'.
EDIT 2:
Added Angel Beats! to the list; Forgot I had watched it. :P
This too also fits your required anime specifications. :3

On another note;
@anyone who's interested; Did i ever mention i own a copy of the limited edition, apparently "extremely rare", black, single box 4-disk complete collection of Elfen Lied? I feel quite lucky to own it seeing as i bought the last one in stock last year for £50, and i see them selling on other sites, second hand for pretty much £300 or more. Does anyone else own this item or any other limited edition merchendise that you feel lucky to own? :3

Not sure about "Diclonious Report". It just says "Elfen Lied -- The Complete Collection" on the cardcase and when i search it online.
About the cardcase thing it comes in. Makes me sad because the corners and edges are damaged and fraying, i wish it came with a metal tin box or something of some sort to protect it. Anything i can do to protect it? 3:
