Yes, i was thinking the exact same thing while watching Kuma
I mean Yuna and Maple would make for a perfect combo.
Now that i think about it though, Bofuri
is
an Isekai as just because Maple doesnt get "trapped" in the game, doesnt mean it isnt an Isekai.
The word "Isekai" literally means "another world" and thats whats shes doing, visiting "another world".
Plus you have to remember, shows like Bleach and Inuyasha were both Isekais yet neither had their main protags "trapped" in the new worlds.
So just because the Main protag doesnt get "trapped" doesnt mean the show isnt an Isekai.
It was only after the big SAO boom that ppl started assuming thats what Isekais were.
