The light novel of What If the ultimate evolved full-dive RPG is a Crappier Game Than Reality seems to be getting an anime adaptation starting in April of next yr:

Heres the synopsis:

The graphics, the behavior of NPCs, the scent of plants and trees, and the breeze that strokes your skin, everything is the ultimate in quality. --Except the fact it is too realistic to make it a troublesome game that it is impossible to clear! "More than 10,000,000,000,000,000 flags!? My physical abilities are the same as in the real world!!" "Yes. If you get hit, it hurts, and if you get cut, the wound doesn't heal for days. It's the most realistic game ever!" The only reward is a sense of accomplishment. Conquer the most stressful game of all time, which can't be played lightly!"

Thanks for the info. I still consider real life the worst MMORPG in existence:
* Death is permanent.
* Joined the game because of parents decision.
* There is no direct way to measure success on a day-to-day, hour-on-hour basis (leveling exp).
* Very slow to acquire wealth.
* All items are tradable (hence can all be stolen).
* Terminal situations, such as fatal wounds cannot be fixed by just eating food.

Im looking forward to that too but i still need to complete S1 -> OVA -> Movie -> S2 -> S2 OVA.

So i still have a long ways to go :/

Just finished S1 and the OVA so i just need to watch the movie -> S2 -> S2 OVA then im all set for S3.

Slime had 5 OVAs after season 1, I watched those. Seems like all of them have relevance to the plot and not just pure fan service.
