I also saw the news about Sony trying to buyout Crunchyroll yesterday. Should be interesting to say the least.

Yea ive heard that Sony also owns Funi?, not sure if true or not, so that might mean mean all the things on Crunchyroll might be back on there as well.

Then again i dont have to worry about that as im not paying for either and found a "better" site which have all the OVAs and movies that neither of them do.

I'll check them out and will be back with a review. Thanks!!! @Draco Burnz

If you want another suggestion and you're into horror/slashers, then ive found out about this series called Higurashi: When They Cry.

It currently has 3 seasons with the 4th airing atm.

From what ive heard ppl say its like the movie Groundhog Day but if it was a slasher.

If you want a informed review on how to watch the series, heres a helpful guide:

The newest English volume of the Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? light novel still isn't out. Amazon UK said the third of November, now it says the tenth. Yen Press says the seventeenth of their own site. Obviously miscommunication or something.

Well sadly it look like they're giving Sword Art Online: Progressive the DaB treatment and its planned release date is sometime in 2021:

https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2020/11/08-1/sword-art-online-progressive-releases-in-2021-as-an-anime-film-1st-trailer-unveiled

I mean i can understand why they chose this route as the mangaka is only releasing like 1 volume/yr but still...

I recently got a crunchyroll subscription to catch up on some anime.
I think so far I only finished watching "Another", which I really enjoyed. You gotta' love a good horror anime. I know it's pretty old now though.
I'm currently watching "Somali and the forest spirit", It's pretty good in my opinion. I
love the subtle and cool colors, and character designs.
The narrative is really progressing well too.

Yes Somali was a really good one and one of the very few i actually support the type of ending it has.

In case you havent finished it yet:
Somali has yet to find any other humans and the Spirit only has a few days? remaining on his lifespan. So its unclear if there'll be a S2 or just leave it up to theorists.

So for what seems to be one of the first times im stuck in this loop of wanting a continuation and agreeing with the ending they did.

Also, id advise against using any of the paid sites as none of them have hardly any "full" series espically for ones that have OVAs and/or movies that are cannon.

One thats extremally prevalent is To Love Ru where it has ~30 or so OVAs and none of the sites have them.

So in order to watch it and fully understand the story, you have to use 3rd party sites.

Thats just my 2 cents though.

Hmm. I didn't know that. From my experience so far, whenever they've had the series at all, they had every episode. I have noticed sometimes they just don't have a series at all.
