Why is Baka & Test classified as Fanservice on Funimations listing?

From my understanding, Zaref's curse lies in his mindset.

The more he cares, the greater the misfortune. In contrast, the less he cares, the less the misfortune.

If he were to tell himself it were born out of hatred and distrust instead of love, and that he has no desire to be connected to it, the curse wouldn't activate.

But if he were to let himself think that he loved it, the curse would activate.

Im only going off the anime not the mangas and everything that's shown/said there seems to proves that any time he starts to like something they die.

With that its seemingly impossible for him to have a kid.

So how could he just tell himself he "hated" someone yet hes heart be different?

If anything im sure the curse would be able to tell the difference IMO.

Okay, after watching both Nanoha Reflection and Nanoha Detonation, it finally hit me.

You know how in Nanoha spells are basically computer programs that they execute by inputting power into devices from the linker cores within their bodies?

Well by that extension, wouldn't it mean that AMF fields are the the Nanoha universe's equivalent of the Borg's ability to assimilate and adapt? They decode the program and develop a way to counteract it. The strength of the processing power behind the barrier determines the ability to analyze and counteract it.

This would explain why things like Variable Barret from SrikerS worked. A multi-layer spell with a mild obfuscation frequency built into it, and the weaker barriers were only able to analyze the first layer before it hit, and they also weren't able to keep up with the minor changes between the separate shots.

The would've also explained the basis behind the Force weaponry. In had an automatic obfuscation technology built into it, so you could technically be using a Divine Buster, only the formula would be changing enough between each shot the opponents AMF wouldn't be able to keep up with it.

And that does bring up one other thing. I am curious if the creator of Force was inspired by the Borg when coming up for the enemies from Force. Because there are a LOT of similarities between the two. Leader of The Enemy ||
