That could be good or bad... it's always such a toss-up when animes ditch the manga or run out of stories to adapt.

The manga is an adaptation of the LNs, of which there are currently 14. I doubt they're out of source material after two cours.

Haven't read the light novel, but if the manga is faithful to it, then I agree.

It's just that the series seems to follow the manga pretty closely. So I assumed they were using that as their source.

I occasionally rewatch the original Dragon Ball, but that's as far as my interest in that series goes.
