It's not that uncommon, but the trend towards one cour shows leaves little possibility of completely adapting all but the briefest manga and LNs. Just off the top of my head Mushishi, Fullmetal Alchemist, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Shinsekai Yori, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, and Death Note have been completely adapted from print to television.
Shakugan no Shana as well. Monogatari series will be joining their ranks once Zoku airs this year.

Question. Should I watch Eromanga Sensei. Trying to figure out what to watch next once I finish Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase, which might I say, has been quite intruiging so far. Shaft really knows how to set the mood when it comes to animation.
Oh, and Mawaru Penguindrum is quite a trip. Watched it a few days ago, and well, yeah. Quite a trip is all I can say.

Eromanga Sensei, much like Oreimo, is trash and you definitely should not watch it.

What? OreImo wasn't trash. Light novels were better of course, because of the stuff that got cut out due to time restrictions, but OreImo was pretty good overall.

I just finished watching Kado: The Right Answer, I enjoyed it in general - while they train wrecked the last 3-episodes.
I'm looking for another anime with an interesting plot, may you have any suggestions?
I'm a massive anime fan. I would definitely recommend Shinsekai Yori ("From The New World"
. It's one of my top animes! However, it's one of those anime where you have to watch until the 25th episode to have a complete grasp of it.

Shinsekai Yori's decent I guess.
I'll add Mai-HIME, Karin, Venus Vs Virus, and the Symphogear franchise onto that list of reccomendations.

Try Dennou Coil and Death Parade. I haven’t watched Kado but from the description these two aren’t too similar to it. Hopefully they’ll both be an interesting watch though
Edit: and have a look at Spice and Wolf, that show really fits with my image of you for some reason
