In my opinion, nothing is too old. Whats good is good, and those who complain about something because it's old are missing out on quite a bit. I've actully been wantting to get around to Gegege no Kitarou when I have time for quite a while, I just haven't had the time.

I'm just not looking to pick up anything much more than 50 episodes currently is all, as my schedules a bit limited. And to be honest, 50 would be a bit much for some genres, notably Shounen. They tend to try and drag things out a bit too much with Shounen.

But no, I'm basically looking too watch thngs in the 12-25 episode range currently. It can be multiple seasons, in which caase I'll watch the first season and decide if I'll continue, but anything much longer than that, I'd rather not get into at this point. Leader of The Enemy ||

Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask this, but how the heck do the conversations keep going towards Hentai? And they go on such wierd tangents when they reach that zone as well.

I just find the topic of sex to be extremely boring and irritating as I hear about it all the time. It's all people talk about. And that's part of the reason why I like Clannad so much, as well as being into the idea of infinite universes. There's no sex in it which to me is a nice change to the repetitiveness of hearing about that topic.

I'd rather be into Pokemon and gaming in general. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

I can understand that. Sex occurs infrequently in anime as a whole though. I thought it would've fit in well for the plot of Clannad in my opinion had it occured. However if we look at our own (western) movies and TV shows, it's become saturated with sex which is off-putting.

Like with Clannad it's a heart-felt love story, and a scene like that should be presented between the characters. Sheesh we didn't even get a kiss scene nonetheless. But when directors and such just throw in a cheap sex scene for the sake of it, it becomes cheap and uninspiring.

I'll be honest, sex in any US make TV shows and Movies is generally an automatic death sentence for that series to me. Us Americans do not know how to approach that topic tactfully.

At any rate, I've never actually gotten around to watching Clannad. It's always been pretty far down on my Backlog. Leader of The Enemy ||

I think I'm going to go re-watch Sakura Diaries. Been quite a few years since I last watched it, and it's been going across my mind quite a bit recently for some reason. Leader of The Enemy ||

It's certainly not something I'd say is worth rewatching. I've seen it yet I hardly remember anything about it, which is a bad sign.

Eh, it's mediocre, but it's still better than a lot of the newer stuff. I remember a bit too much about it probably. It's actully quite a heartwarming story when you get into it, and has a much more realistic feel than a lot of other stuff. That said, still mediocre. It's one of those ones you watch on a slow day.
