I have to admit I watched a bit of Naruto both dubbed and subbed and didn't like it at all.
Bleach however is a different story. At first when I heard about it I thought "Oh it's just another Naruto" So I had the first 100 odd episodes which I was given sitting on my computer for a while. But then one day when I was feeling bored I started watching a bit and really started loving it. At first the series is slow and not all that innovative but after you've gotten into it a bit the series is great and has a great story too. In terms of quality, story, action and everything else all the new episodes getting released now are great.
That being said though watching Bleach is a commitment and getting up to episode 296 the latest would take a while...
So other then Bleach if I had to suggest anything? Fullmetal Alchemist as well as Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood which is a remake that follows the story in the Manga is one of my all time favourites. Also Neon Genesis Evangelion could be something I think you might like, it has a really deep story to it.

if you have not seen it WATCH IT! funimation have put it up on youtube with adverts (while ******** on the fan subbers)
i will garuntee that you will be left with a sence that the storyline has been unforfilled and you will have a yearning for MORE!
of course the animators messed it up so everyone knows haruhi is a girl at the end and that kinda makes it hard for a second series so prahaps REDO IT ALL
