That's why I don't really blind buy. I generally only buy stuff I've seen and have rated at least an 8/10, sometimes 7/10 if it's cheap. I'll rarely blind buy only if I'm pretty confident that I'll like it (and if it's cheap).

So far the only thing I regret buying is Blue Seed. I figured it'd be something I liked but ended up being a 5/10. But eh... I got the box set for like 12-17 bucks, somewhere in that range, so it wasn't that much of a loss.

With the current Rightstuf sale, I'm blowing cash fast. Picked up the BDs for the Mardock Scramble movies without knowing anything about the series. They ended up being quite good, 7/10. They were worth it for 6 dollars a piece. Also got Vampire Hunter D which also ended up being good, another 7/10. So I think I did alright there with the blind buys.

I don't mind a blind buy every so often, if only because so often I've already seen the things I'm buying and have them stored digitally already, that I actually want to watch some new physical media. Probably wouldn't drop the money on a full priced special edition unless it already had a reputation as being something I'de like, but when it's on sale or in the bargain bin and they only want $6 for the whole lot, I'm not really losing anything by giving it a try.

I'de say my success rate with blind buys is pretty much 50/50. The good stuff ends up getting watched more or less immediately though, which is what's lead me to my current situation. Wish I had the money to be buying from Rightstuf, but all my spare change went into a trip to NZ. We don't really do Black Friday here, so I completely forgot it was coming up. Still time though, now if only the exchange rate wasn't so crap...

Yea No Game No Life is like my favorite anime right now I'd re-watch it again if I find the time, we need a s2 for that anime yessssssss!
