I'm more thrown to see someone praising Aldnoah Zero myself. Pretty to look at, but the writing of that show is so many kinda of garbage it aint funny, to the point that Inaho actually managed to out-Gary Stu Kirito...
Also, since wee're talking mechs, I have to rant:
When are people going to learn that having an entire military force of mecha is NOT a sound warfare tactic. One of the reasons I cant really deal with mecha as a genre is the absurd way that they are always the foundation stone of every single military force in the whole freaking galaxy.
Compare them to tanks, stong in an open field when unopposed by enemy air support, but in an urban enviroment extremely vulnerable to attack by infantry, which is why you'll never see a tank operating alone in an AO. Not to mention, a tank is considerably more robust than a mec* by virtue of design, it only takes one rocket propelled grenade or mortar or hell, even a 40mm would probably do it - to the stress-point to cripple a biped machine, one servo goes and the whole thing is done. I know they get around this by having some sort of super metal or 'superior martian technology' or some ******** but in a realworld military content.... no.
