I've noticed they do that too. To some things.

Suddenly some really nasty people appear right after a hilarious episode and then the next 2 episodes is fighting this guy who appeared out of nowhere with no real backstory. Just "oh yeah I need to capture her". LIKE. WHAT. IS. THIS.

There's also the fact I watch anime to get away from **** reality. I don't need random nasty people turning up and hurting characters.
