Be fine with the spoilers I think I know what most of the regular posters here have and haven't seen anyway.

its anime I don't think the age is of particular importance...think your looking into it a bit to deeply fella hes hardly absent from her life when growing up there in the same house they just don't talk much.

The age one is able to fall in love and comprehend the meaning behind it is debatable. Besides like Earnshaw said, it's only anime and is not real. I found my post from MAL back from when I just finished watching it:

My whole problem is that it didn't even fit with the show's image. It's supposed to be a comedy that doesn't take itself seriously and jokes around with the thought of an incestuous relationship. Then it does a complete 180 and goes over the top with ridiculous amounts of melodrama and tries to genuinely tackle the sensitive issue of incs*. Meanwhile I'm just staring at my computer going "what?" It doesn't even make sense.

What's even worse is that the producers/writers didn't even have the conviction to truly stick with a Kirino ending, they just BS the whole thing, end their relationship right at the end of the show, and practically laugh it off as a joke. Then we're back at square one and didn't solve one. f-ing. thing.

To be honest if they wanted a Kirino ending, the much better thing would've been revealing that they aren't blood related. I know it would've been a massive asspull, but I feel it would've fit the mood of the show a lot more.

I really don't care who Kyousuke ends up with as long as he picks one of them. I'd take Ayase personally, but whatever.

*Few edits there to avoid the censor.

Damn it, I missed the discussion on the horror that was the OreImo ending! (Why do I always miss the good stuff?)

I guess my opinion of it is pretty much the same as Revive's in this case. Up til the end of the show, the characters actually maintained a small bit of common sense throughout the entire show and things were on track for a normal ending. Then the main character for no explicable reason goes completely mental on us and confesses to his little ***** of a sister who he disliked up until the last 4 episodes or so. Now I wouldn't have so much of problem with this if he didn't A) turn down five or so girls who without warning tell him that they love him and B) did this only to have a one night stand with his little sister only for it all to end at a kiss. The show did a complete 180 in the last two episodes and went on the path of a harem and a ****** one at that.
