Recent purchases:

LOGIK - L12DFGM17 12" Desk Fan - Gun Metal - Curry's PC World

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU & MSI B450 Carbon Gaming Pro AC motherboard - Amazon UK

The fan was just what I was looking for. Small, powerful and not so loud. Noisy fans interfere with my headphones and can make it annoying to listen to music. Spent a while looking for one. I've bought a few plastic ones in the past and they always seem lacking. My room gets way too hot so I always need a fan to keep myself cool when Spring/Summer approaches. Hopefully this is the last one I'll need to buy for a while.

As for my PC purchases, I thought it was time to give AMD another shot seeing how they've been smashing it lately and really giving Intel a run for their money. I've yet to do any real testing on this because I've only just put it together due being busy with the new skill. From what I've seen of it so far, it's looking real good.

This might actually be an important post with limited coronavirus shopping right now. Here in California the Walmarts aren't limited like in other states. I was able to buy food, but also staples to make masks, and car phone charger since someone lifted mine. I hope everything opens up soon. Businesses are beginning to close for good like the Subway near my house. I miss it.

I ended up investing in a Blue Yeti microphone since my university is transitioning to video conferences for lectures for the foreseeable future. Apparently I wasn't the only one who had that idea since it took about a month for it to ship out. I prefer the sound of condenser microphones to dynamic microphones even though they pick up more background noise.

Blue makes really great entry level/USB stuff too, great choice!

And yes, if you can account for the background noise, a nice condenser is always going to sound warmer and fuller and richer :D

I'm currently shopping around to upgrade my Audio Technica AT4040 for something a little more high-end, but it's hard to know whether I'm paying more just because of a name, or if it's actually worth it to get some of these.

I saw a video showcasing the AT4040 and it sounds like a great microphone. I've been watching microphone review videos online, and I don't seem to notice much difference past the $500 mark or so. It's probably a limitation of my entry level monitor headphones.

Getting back on topic, I ended up buying a pop filter for my microphone and some acoustic foam panels. Since I'm in a small room sound echoes very easily. I did a recording before and after treating the room and the quality sounds so much better!

Gave my mom $25 for some quality sunglasses since the dollar store one I bought is useless and she gave me 2 lindt, can of sundried tomato and basil flaked light tuna and a bag of crackers. I bought a 300g bag of sour gummies for 50 cents including tax candy probably won't get cheaper than that, 5 soft drinks from the bakery and a bag of sriracha and lime chips from walmart. Sadly the walmart I went to doesn't stock any Game Cards anymore so my only hope is the other one that's the same distance. Otherwise I have to go pretty far to a 7/11 my friend said sells Game Cards or give mom money to give to him so he can give her Game Cards which she'll give to me. Or I can give mom money to give to him so he can buy Bonds from the jagex store which he can give to me in game, but if I do that I have to pay Bond tax to sell on GE.
