So, I'm going through some Pennywise songs on the internet, and, well, I keep coming across this claim that Pennywise did a cover song of California Dreamin'.
I can't find this song anywhere. A few people have posted the cover by Hi-Standard (from Survival of the Fattest) claiming it's the Pennywise version, but it's clearly Hi-Standard.
Lyric websites all have lyrics for "Pennywise - California Dreamin".
Guitar tab websites have tabs for the same song.
But the song doesn't actually exist anywhere, does it? Does anyone know if they did a live version that people are referring to?
And weirder still, while trying to find this elusive song, I come across all kinds of other videos on YouTube claiming to be Pennywise songs, but, they're clearly other punk bands. It's like some weird conspiracy happening. lol
Anyways, enjoy this Men At Work cover by Pennywise:

I grew up listening to a lot of UK punk... I wasn't really into it that much but my brother was a huge fan so I heard a lot of it by proxy... Buzzcocks, Pistols, Clash etc.
I've actually come to appreciate it a lot more over the years - mixed in with the raw energy and anger was a lot of intelligent stuff.
