I've had two. Before the second passed on, my renter bought an American Bulldog/Boxer (AKA: BullBoxer) pup (6 months old). I told him that the breed is very hardheaded and may take special training. He agreed so I allowed him to buy it. He found out what I said was true and abandoned the pup. I started paying the pup the attention he needed. My renter left, saying he would be back for the pup, but I never heard from him again. I trained the pup myself, although the pup thought he was going to train me. He wanted to be the Alpha in the house, I showed him otherwise. I was never mean to him, but there were times.....
The two dogs didn't get along, but my Greyhound kept the pup in his place...at the bottom of the pecking order. After my Greyhound passed on I knew I couldn't get another, nor any other pet for that matter. The BullBoxer became very territorial against other 4 legged creatures. Two legged, 6 legged and 8 legged is fine, as far as he's concerned. I thought he'd make a good watchdog, but not when he thinks every person is his friend.
Kinda falling in love with my Siberian Husky. She kinda acts a lot like a cat (except at the dog park) and since I am a cat person, I enjoy it.
It's something unpredictable
But in the end, it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
I grew up with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and have had my own for 13 years now
I love quite a few breeds, but as I often have grandchildren here breed really matters. Cavvys are awesome family pets.
Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Chihuahuas and Boxers for me.
Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.
Ekki hugsa alltaf að ég sé friðsælt vegna þess að ég veit ekki hvernig á að vera ofbeldi.
Lucky for me, I have two psycho four-year-old Borders barking at anyone going past our house. However, that is tempered by the beautiful sight of them chasing butterflies.
