It was cold but dry this morning which was good as it helped with people needing to clean out there flooded homes and businesses as lots of areas were badly flooded yesterday.
I even came across a video of my boys father's street, which is quite steep, it was like a river
Sadly the rain came back this afternoon, at this moment just after 10 pm it sounds like it's not raining, just the occasional drips I hear.
Lot less hot today, can finally sit in here with clothes on.

^I hope it stays dry for you Dong considering what happened in the top of the South Island
And all those cows drowned
So very sad. The news that's coming out from the aftermath is just so sad; one lady in the south island this is her third flood in a few years, it was just so sad listening to her story. I'm so pleased a relief fund is set up for the people affected down south, they truly need it and deserve it.
In my city there's a fear bit of damage in homes, businesses and cars - nowhere near as bad as the north of the south Island.
According to my phone its 24c outside at the moment and due to get to 28 or 29. I am going to close the curtains on the south side to try and keep some of the heat out of the house.
