Auckland has a few plus tornado's every year which causes damage. This is the first one that's killed a person, one seriously injured, a third I think moderate or minor injuries.

^No I was in my apartment. I knew it was windy and wet but I didn't hear about the tornado until the 6pm news.

I guess these tornado's are very localized, ie: they can happen not very far away and you wont know they happened.

Scary stuff. In America it flattens whole communities. Tornado's are huge over there; our ones are quite small compared.

It's a shame those shipping containers were stacked so high, maybe if they weren't lives wouldn't have been lost???

Around the time of your post it was raining here, too. No thunder this time, though!
Weather's quite cold today actually. It reads 13c which is quite a decline. :O Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !
