BBC DJ Janice Long died on Christmas day age 66
I listened to her for years and I'm pretty sure she was the first female presenter on Top of The Pops... I know she was the first female DJ on Radio One.
A lot of bands launched their careers with her support on the radio, including Primal Scream, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and even Adele.
